Bridging The Gap Fund
The purpose of the “Bridging the Gap Fund” is to provide assistance to men & women who are new in recovery trying to make a transition from residential treatment or incarceration to a sober living facility ( sober house, halfway house etc). Phoenix Foundation will assist them by paying a portion of intake fees/move in fees to enable them to get started & find work. Additionally funds may be used for Vivitrol treatments and flights to inpatient treatment.
All funding for this project has come specifically from grants, partnerships & donors whose mission is to help with this specific need. No funds will be used from the Phoenix Foundation general fund for a recovery high school.
A committee of five people review all applications for assistance. This committee serves under the discretion off the board of directors of the Phoenix Foundation of MD, a non-profit 501(c)(3).
Our goal is to be able to serve as many people in need as possible. Bridging the Gap Fund can only spend monies that have been donated for this purpose, & can only assist when there have been monies received. All applications will be decided on a case by case basis.
